Food and Dining

At Springfield we try and grow as much of our own produce as possible. We are a working deer farm and we also keep hens and geese. In the orchard below the garden we keep a number of bee hives. Whatever we don’t grow or produce is sourced locally. Our ethos is great fresh chemical free and locally sourced ingredients. You are what you eat and here at Springfield we eat great.

Daniel and Ali run the walled garden and grow lots of fresh fruit and vegetables from which they create beautiful and tasty mouth watering meals, preserves, pickles, fermented foods and sauces. Ali also grows fantastic flowers for her in house flower art- The Green room at Springfield. We have fresh venison available on request and all other meat produce is sourced from within a five mile radius. There are a number of different styles of meals that you can avail of while at Springfield ranging from drop off to formal sit downs, tapa’s nights and a fun filled evening served from a food truck.
