BOOKING & RESERVATIONS CONDITIONS

Springfield Castle’s Booking & Reservations Conditions

We require 50% of the rental as a booking deposit to confirm a reservation.

If you book by telephone we will provisionally hold the period you require for a week to allow you to arrange the deposit.

We accept PAYPAL payments, Credit cards or direct bank transfer.

If you book in the year prior to your reservation, a deposit of 25% will suffice with a further 25% to be paid in January of the rental year. The balance 50% should be paid in advance 60 days prior to arrival.

A €600 refundable breakage deposit is required upon arrival. This can be paid via the friends and family option using Paypal

No Pets Allowed.

Max sleeping capacity is 25 guests plus 4 children under age 5.

If you intend on holding an event of over 25 guests it must be discussed previous to arrival and a venue charge may apply. Only Springfield castle’s approved suppliers may be used for events.

CHECKING IN & OUT

On the day of arrival check in is at 4 pm and guests should please depart by 10 am on the day of departure.

NO CHARGE ITEMS

Our prices include linen, towels, all taxes(VAT) heating, electricity and firewood. We also have free WIFI internet

EXTRAS

Housecleaning and laundry can be arranged.

Specially prepared meals for entertaining or functions can be arranged.These items are charged at the end of your stay at cost depending on usage.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand unforeseen circumstances may cause you to cancel the booking.

In the event that you have to cancel your reservation, there is a minimum cancellation fee of €500 to cover the cost of re-advertising and administration costs.

If you cancel 120  days prior to the commencement of the rental period we charge 50% of the total rent but we will return this less the cancellation fee if we re-let.

If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the booking we retain 100% of the total rental unless we manage to re-let.

We recommend that you take out insurance to cover this eventuality.
